Justine Musk, 37, is the Canadian-born writer of the dark urban fantasy novels BloodAngel, Uninvited, and Lord of Bones. In some quarters, she is equally well known as the ex-wife of Elon Musk, founder of PayPal, CEO of Tesla Mostors, and formidable opponent in a high profile divorce that she has documented in her blog, tribal X. Elon and Justine Musk share five children, 6 –month old twins and 4-year old triplets, and an opulent Bel Air residence that Justine still inhabits with the children. With wisdom from her life experience, she is now writing a book about the myth of the gold-digger in American culture, from a feminist perspective. The divorce trial of Justine and Elon Musk has had a significant impact on Tesla Motors and its recent IPO, as Justine stands to gain a substantial portion of Elon’s shares in the company, which would result in his losing control of Tesla Motors.
