Winter Swim

Lindsay Morris has lived almost her entire adult life in a beach town in New York – the surrounding waters are a haven, except for in winter when they’re inhospitable. A year into the pandemic Lindsay began to find something intriguing about those who entered the freezing waters year-round. What inner fortitude does it take to find a home in the frigid ocean? Image after image of the winter swimmers gave Lindsay examples of a kind of grace, strength, and humility life is currently demanding of us all as we forge our way into the unknown.
